School Programs
Teachers are welcome to schedule their classes for a program at the Governor's Residence. We also work in partnernship with the State Capitol to schedule same day tours.

Educational opportunities for elementary students are expanding. Now based upon 2011 State standards, they include films, classroom materials, and "behind the scene" tours.

Visitors are welcomed to the Residence for our public Programs & Events, Special Events like the "Celebration of Premier Colorado Wines", The Garden Party at the Governor's Residence, History Colorado Docent led Tours, and Holiday Tours.

Summer Tours 2012
Every Tuesday, June 12th - August 21st
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Tours begin at every quarter hour and last 45 minutes.

Holiday Tours 2012
December 8th - 14th

The Residence will be open for holiday visitors for an entire week from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM starting on December 8, 2012 and continuing daily through December 14, 2012.

The Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion is located at:
400 East 8th Avenue
Denver, CO 80203

Free Parking is available in the Governor’s Residence Lot at the southwest corner of Logan Street and East 8th Avenue. Access to the lot is via northbound Logan Street.

After 5 pm on weekdays and all day on weekends and holidays, free parking is also available in the DPS Lot immediately south of the Governor’s Residence Lot. Please remember to pay the fee in the southern-most lot.
